Solar Selections can offer a fully funded approach to installing multiple energy efficiency technologies on a given property (Public or Private) spending over £30,000 per annum on electricity and heating bills. The funding is available to finance various Eco friendly technologies such as Solar PV, Biomass, LED Lighting, etc. at zero capital outlay to the tenant/landlord.

This approach is ideal for organisations looking to meet certain carbon reduction targets or to improve their Eco friendly image, without affecting the balance sheet. The Framework

1. Any site or collection of sites spending over £30,000 per annum on energy can access the funding for the installation of Energy Efficiency Technologies. Only high quality energy efficiency components will secure funding.

2. The tenant/landlord will not be required to outlay any capital for the installation of the suitable technologies. The fund generates a return by taking a percentage of the actual energy savings for 5 - 10 years. After the 5 - 10 years all of the upgrades & incentives are handed back to the tenant/landlord. During the contract period all maintenance and operating costs are handled by the fund. It is worth noting that the funding does not require any roof rental arrangements.

3. This model is an ESCO (energy saving contract) and the repayments come in the form of service fees and not asset based finance. Therefore there is no impact on the balance sheets and the tenant/landlord is not applying for a loan or any other form of finance.

4. The tenant/landlord receives significant energy savings from day 1. For example, from day 1 the client will receive 10% of the actual savings resulting from the upgrades.

5. It is important to state that the funding is not just available for a single technology, a successful project needs to involve at least two renewable / Eco friendly technologies.
